On March 28, Professor Xu Guozhang, Deputy Director of the Ningbo University Health Science Center and Dean of the School of Public Health, led a delegation to Yiwu City to attend the Agreement Signing and Plaque Awarding Ceremony for the Preventive Medicine Teaching Practice Base between the Ningbo University Health Science Center and Yiwu Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Fang Bin, Deputy Director of Yiwu Health Bureau and Director of the Disease Prevention and Control Bureau, and Jiang Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Yiwu Center for Disease Control and Prevention, attended the event.

Since March 2015, when Yiwu CDC became a teaching practice base for preventive medicine, it has provided abundant on-site practical teaching opportunities for the cultivation of talents majoring in preventive medicine at Ningbo University, and has given strong support to the talent cultivation work. After comprehensive evaluation, starting from March 2025, Yiwu CDC will continue to serve as a teaching practice base and further undertake tasks such as guiding internships, instructing the writing of graduation theses, guiding postgraduate practical internships, and conducting scientific research cooperation. The renewal of this agreement not only lays a good foundation for the two sides to closely carry out all-round cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, and ability improvement, but also will accumulate a large number of vivid on-site practical cases for Ningbo University in the field of public health, helping the discipline construction and teaching level reach a new height.
