Speaker Profile: Liu Xinmin

Liu Xinmin serves as a WHO Traditional Medicine Consultant and a Professor/Chief Scientist at the Institute of New Drug Technology, Ningbo University. He holds concurrent positions as Vice Chairman of the National Technical Committee on Laboratory Animal Standardization, Chairman of the Animal Model Evaluation Committee under the Chinese Association for Laboratory Animal Sciences, Vice President of the National Innovation Alliance for Edible and Medicinal Resources Industry, and Director of the Edible and Medicinal Resources Branch of the Chinese Nutrition Society. Additionally, he is the Director of the China-Pakistan Traditional Chinese Medicine Cooperation Center under the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With over three decades of experience in neuropsychopharmacological research, experimental methodologies based on animal behavior, and the development of TCM products for brain health, Prof. Liu has made significant contributions to the field.

He has presided over more than 30 national and ministerial-level projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, international S&T cooperation programs, and aerospace medical engineering initiatives. As the first or corresponding author, he has published over 150 high-impact papers, co-authored 5 books, and received over 10 national and ministerial awards, 3 international accolades, and more than 10 national invention patents.
