In March, the Ningbo University Health Science Center hosted the 11th University-level Young Teachers' Teaching Competition (Medical Sciences Group). The competition attracted 33 young teachers from the School of Basic Medicine, six directly affiliated hospitals, and three teaching hospitals, who actively registered to participate.

The competition adopted a "live online streaming + offline observation" model throughout, showcasing the teaching process in all aspects. With solid professional expertise, innovative teaching designs, and vivid classroom demonstrations, the participating teachers presented an audio-visual feast of medical education, attracting hundreds of online viewers.

Focusing on the characteristics of medical education, the competition included three segments: teaching design, classroom teaching, and teaching reflection, comprehensively assessing the teachers’ overall teaching competencies. The participants closely integrated cutting-edge academic knowledge with clinical practice, incorporating diverse teaching methods such as case analysis, virtual simulation, teaching models, and video animations into their classes. These efforts not only demonstrated their excellent teaching skills but also reflected the educational philosophy of cultivating clinical thinking and humanistic care in young teachers under the framework of integrating medical education and clinical practice.

After comprehensive evaluation, the final round awarded 2 First Prizes, 3 Second Prizes, and 4 Third Prizes. Two outstanding winners were selected to compete in the provincial-level Young Teachers' Teaching Competition. Additionally, the First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University, People's Hospital Affiliated to Ningbo University, and Ningbo Beilun District Hospital Affiliated to Ningbo University received the Excellent Organization Awards.
